    New A7's

Over the weekend I picked up a real nice pair of A7's with extra Altec parts. four 416A's two 421 8H's two black 511B's with 802-8D's and a N500D XO. Can you use the 8 ohm 802 with this 16 ohm crossover? Well thats how It was hooked up. The cabs are still In the garage. Pics later. Thanks Rick

Somebody has caught the Altec bug.

What's bolted to those horns that doesn't belong there?

No. The inductor is twice too big and cap 1/2 what it should be so there will be a gap between woofer and tweeter. You can alway add a 6-10Ω resistor in series and that might help, if you don't mind the attenuation.
Nothing like a great big pair of speakers to make your day.
